Here is the build and painting progress of this Merican kit of a Peckett 0-6-0. The locomotive has a full sprung chassis, removable cab assembly to allow detail painting.
Final progress now under way after some time searching for the correct body colours.
Firstly the chassis has been painted, and re-assembled. Coupling rods to be painted next, and the motor fitted. Final work on the cab firebox and fittings, including the glass in the water gauges.
